내일이 사라진 이들은 

탄소 배출에 책임이 

가장 적은 사람들입니다

오늘의 생존을 위협받는 이들은

지금 이 순간에도

계속 증가하고 있습니다

2050년에 이르면 기후변화에 따른 자연 재난으로

최대 10억 명의 난민이 발생할 것으로 예측하고 

있습니다.

이대로라면, 해안 저지대에 거주하는 약 6억 명이 

해수면 상승으로 인한 홍수, 담수 침입으로 삶의 

터전을 잃게 됩니다.

세계가 빠르게 탄소배출을 감축하더라도 향후

10년간 최대 1억 3,200만 명이 극심한 빈곤층

으로 내몰릴 수 있습니다.

후원금은 어떻게 사용되나요? 

여러분의 소중한 후원금은 매월 영국 본부로 보내져 전 세계 가장 도움이 필요한 국가에서 생명을 살리는 활동을 위해 사용되고 있습니다. 옥스팜은 전체 후원금의 80% 이상을 긴급구호, 국제개발, 캠페인 프로그램에 사용합니다.

후원금 사용 내역을 확인할 수 있나요?

옥스팜코리아를 포함한 영국 본부의 총 수입 및 사용 내역은 매년 외부 회계전문기관을 통해 투명한 재정 운영을 검증받고 있으며, 상세 재정보고는 국세청 홈택스 또는 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있습니다.

특정 사업 또는 지역에 후원금을 전달할 수 있나요?

옥스팜은 우선 지원국가 및 지원방법 등을 고려해 후원금을 배분하는 비지정기부를 기본으로 운영됩니다. 경우에 따라 특정 사업에 후원하는 지정기부를 받기도 하지만, 비지정기부는 현장 상황에 따라 유연하게 사용될 수 있기 때문에 수혜자들에게 가장 필요한 솔루션을 안정적으로 제공가능하다는 장점이 있습니다. 이는 옥스팜이 수혜자들의 삶을 변화시키기 위한 중장기적인 프로그램을 진행하는데도 큰 힘이 됩니다.
